Peak #5

Peak #5 was another spontaneous, mid-week Peak of the Week adventure…..a run in the sun took me 493.78m up to the top of our local Sugar Loaf in the Port Hills. Running makes me feel so free, and I took great delight in chugging all the way to the top of sugar loaf in the Wednesday evening sun. Risky to tick off my closest peak to home this early in the year, however as I spent the weekend trying to become one of those multi-sport people who runs and mountain bikes AND swims, I thought I had enough of a mountain ahead of me without a literal peak!
