Day 4 was hammerdown…

With a race against weather, time and AirNZ!

Kaihu to Whangarei.

A few days delayed with final day recap as we had a tight turnaround packing bikes and making it to flights out of Whangarei that afternoon. Richard caught up with Gus a few days later for a recap of day 4.

A with that, that’s a wrap of 4 day of Northland riding. 433km, 5449vert, 21 bikes, 1 support vehicle and many, many pies.

They are hitting up the ‘G’Roads Northland way.

It is titled Backroad400, but for those on the trip who haven’t done their research… it is actually Backroad449 with just over 6000m vert.
